CPR Training

As Restart a Heart Awareness day is coming up, Alison Morris is arranging some training for all staff to access.

Restart a Heart is an annual initiative led by Resuscitation Council UK which aims to increase the number of people surviving out-of-hospital cardiac arrests by helping more people learn CPR. Survival rates from out-of-hospital cardiac arrest remain stubbornly low in the UK, with fewer than one in 10 people surviving. By taking part in Restart a Heart, you are part of something bigger. You are contributing to a society where more people know how to help save a life, and can make a real difference in the ultimate medical emergency.

Whether you’re a health professional who is already competent in Basic Life Support or you just wish to gain some skills should you find yourself in a situation where by you have to perform CPR, please come along to one of our sessions to practice on the dummies and gain a vital, lifesaving skill.

Skills lab – Friday 16th October

Sessions at 9am, 11am, 1pm, 2pm, 3pm
