Raising Concerns
Ensuring the safety of anyone who comes into Derian House; children, young people, staff and volunteers is of paramount importance to the Board of Trustees, myself and the Senior Management Team.
As part of our commitment to protecting the safety of everyone, we have identified a number of individuals who you can go to if you need to raise a concern about safety be that of patient care or culture. These are called our “Raising Concerns Champions”. You can go to these staff members and Trustees and they will listen and act upon any concerns over safety that you may have. Your Raising Concern Champions are:

Concerns which are raised in this way are dealt with via our Raising Concerns Policy which you can find under policies on the intranet.
In addition to our internal measures we have also appointed an independent external organisation called Safecall. Safecall are specialists in managing whistleblower concerns. Their whistleblowing hotline enables you to report issues relating to your working environment in a safe and secure way via phone or online.
