MONDAY 16^th

• What movie will our children choose to watch in the cinema this afternoon?

TUESDAY 17^th  

• Derian Playgroup for our babies and toddlers will be held in the Seaside Room from 10:00am – 11:30am.

 

• Our Join us for an autumn themed sensory journey in the Sensory Room this morning.

 

• It’s party time! We’ll be enjoying birthday party games and fun in the Messy PlayZone this afternoon.

 

• Individual and group sessions of music therapy with Martha will take place in the House Snug from 2:00pm.

 

• ITV Granada Reports will be here at the hospice this morning to film a piece about our 30^th

WEDNESDAY 18^th

• Eyes down… it’s prize bingo time! We’ll be getting competitive in the Messy PlayZone this morning.

 

• Music teacher Rachel will be in the House Snug from 11:00am to entertain us all with an hour of sing-along fun.

 

• Weather permitting; we’ll be collecting treasure on a hunt around Astley Park this afternoon.

 

• Our Derian Dads group will meet in the Seaside Room from 7:30pm – 9:00pm for their monthly session.

THURSDAY 19^th

• Roll up your sleeves and get your aprons on, it’s time to do some birthday cake baking in Danni’s Diner this morning.

 

• Our Pet Therapy pooch Shuna will be at the hospice with Linda this morning.

 

• Splish, splash – this afternoon, we’ll be having lots of fun in the hydrotherapy pool.

 

• John (Family Counsellor)’s fortnightly wellbeing session for all staff will take place in the Cinema from 4:00pm.

FRIDAY 20^th

• The time has finally come for our big 30^th birthday Open Day to arrive. We’ll be throwing open our doors from 10:00am to a whole range of professionals, family members and friends of Derian House to show them exactly what we do and how their donations are spent.

SATURDAY 21^st

• To celebrate ‘Apple Day’, we’ll be doing fruit stamp pictures and taking part in apple bobbing fun in the Messy PlayZone this morning.

 

• After lunch, we’ll be continuing our celebrations with toffee apple making… yum, yum!

SUNDAY 22^nd

• Cosy up and snuggle down, it’s story time with Katie (Wellbeing & Play Team Leader) in the House Lounge.
