Here’s the magical ‘once upon a dream’ moment that 13 families from Derian House were given the ultimate fairytale surprise – they were all to go on a fully-paid Disney holiday, courtesy of a mystery donor

Earlier this year, the generous donor set out to give one deserving Derian House family the gift of an unforgettable Disney trip – an opportunity they might not otherwise have had

Families were invited to share their stories and videos, explaining why they deserved the chance to win a holiday to the most magical place on earth

Believing that only one family would be chosen; the families arrived at a top-secret presentation to discover the winner at the hospice on Thursday evening

Smiles and tears filled the room as it was revealed that all 13 families had won a Disney adventure, turning a dream into reality for everyone. Thank you so much to the very special man who has quite literally made so many dreams come true – we can’t express our gratitude enough
