In June, we got stuck in and celebrated Children’s Hospice Week, Volunteers Week, AND Pride Month in true Derian style, we enjoyed plenty of fun outside thanks to the sun finally making an appearance, and the Derian Dynamos did us proud once again by winning the regional kurling finals! #MonthInAMinute 💚
In April, our children and young people celebrated Rainbow Day with an array of colourful activities, we threw open our doors during the Easter holidays for lots of family fun, and thousands of fans united at Bolton Arena for the biggest Stars & Cars event to date! MonthInAMinute 💚

In January, we launched The Keepsake Circle: Chapter Three at a special concert held at the Dunkenhalgh Hotel, our children and young people (and staff!) had fun in the snow, and we asked nurses from across the region to come and join our incredible team #MonthInAMinute 💚

In November, a record breaking 1️⃣,0️⃣0️⃣0️⃣ Santas jingled all the way to the top of Rivington Pike and back to raise money for Derian House, we launched our brand new campaign which asks people to ‘Say My Child’s Name’, and Christmas came early as we geared up for the festive season here at the hospice #MonthInAMinute 💚
In September, Team Derian got covered in mud at the UK’s biggest army assault course Born Survivor, our youngsters enjoyed a vroooomazing day out at Aintree race course, and eight businesspeople from across the North West were left shouting ‘Bail Me Out!’ as they were locked behind bars #MonthInAMinute 💚
In May, our children and young people basked in the early summer sun, six-year-old Oscar concluded his epic mountain challenge with a cheeky trip up Ben Nevis and £30,000 raised, and 150 of our supporters trekked through sea and sand on the Morecambe Bay Walk #MonthInAMinute 💚
In April, we opened up our gardens once again to give the local community an insight into life at Derian House, super sibling James walked out with Liverpool FC captain Virgil van Dijk at their game against Tottenham Hotspur, and we filled the Easter holidays with plenty of activities for all of our families to enjoy #MonthInAMinute 💚
In March, we officially relaunched the Derian on Holiday lodges with a special guest appearance from our now famous fundraiser, the £50 Challenge kicked off with Oliver reaching his target in a record two weeks, and our children and young people continued to enjoy making precious memories here at their local children’s hospice #MonthInAMinute 💚
In February, we welcomed back a bunch of our families for school holiday fun, six-year old Oscar continued doing the rounds on national television, and Lancashire’s pooches collectively walked over 40,000km to raise vital funds for their local children’s hospice #MonthInAMinute 💚

In September, we gave away a £250,000 family home to one lucky winner of the Great Big House Giveaway, the entire Wigan Warriors squad came to visit our children and young people here at the hospice, and we had 13 businesspeople from across Lancashire screaming ‘Bail Me Out’ until they each raised £999 for Derian House #MonthInAMinute 💚
